Clear instructions, decent value

I purchased the kids loungewear pattern after signing up for the newsletter discount. The pattern downloaded instantly, which was great. The step-by-step tutorial was very helpful, even for an intermediate sewer like me. Projector files were included, which is a nice touch. It took me a little while to match up my fabric to the size chart, but overall, it was a smooth process and the pattern turned out well.

Are these patterns actually good for beginners or do they assume you know a bunch of stuff already? Like, do they have pictures for every step?

They're pretty good! I just made a kids top with them and the instructions were super detailed with pictures for almost everything. Felt much less scary than some other patterns I've tried.

Some of their patterns are marked as 'beginner' so maybe look for those first. They usually have step-by-step tutorials, but I think the projector file setup can be a bit tricky if you're _brand_ new to all that tech stuff. For actual sewing, the instructions are solid though.

Nah, pretty sure you can't stack discounts. I tried it last month with a bundle deal and a separate code, didn't work. It's usually one or the other for most pattern shops, this site included.

Yeah, I think their policy says no combining with automatic bundle discounts. So you'd have to pick which deal saves you more. The newsletter one is usually 15-25% off though, so could be good for a smaller order.
